The Third Era
- The Love
- Kameno and Vepkhia married and birthed Minar.
- Berengari and Glaurin gave birth to Varian.
- The Sky War
- Glaurin and Beregari begin to argue and fight. This causes clashes between the land and sky, the Dragonborn and Kobolds begin to wage war against the Orcs and Goblins.
- Beregari wished for her creations to rise up as she had seen how poorly Orcs and Goblins were treated. Glaurin took this to mean she wanted to take to the sky, his domain, and staunchly refused to even hear her out. This began as merely arguing, until a tribe of Dragonborn captured a village of Goblins. From there the war truly began.
- Many gods tried to stay out of the fighting, Arlu began to become overwhelmed with the surge in deaths and needed help, they brought Asha into the world, combining the corpse of a panther with the soul of a great crow.
- Vepkhia and Beregari had always been close, considered to be sisters, and Vepkhia declared her allegiance to Beregari, bringing more strife into the war. This caused Kameno to side with Glaurin; the sky and the sea relying on each other and insisting the land dwellers know their place.
- Ros and Tai were birthed in the passion of battle, bringing a new element into the fighting; magic. This paused the fighting as the mortals tried to regroup. There was a hesitant truce called.
- The Calm
- As the blood soaked into the battlefields and the bodies cooled and families gathered together and new life was created, Sheerah was formed. She ushered in a boom of new life and eventually, blood.
- During this Berengari and Glaurin were kept in isolation, the former was confined beneath the largest mountain in Tahliah while Glaurin was trapped at the very top of the mountain. Both were sealed and weakened, able to barely keep an eye on their creations and domains.
- Ros and Tai had been exploring the world, trying to stay out of the battles. They became very fond of Hekkate and founded Histea, uniting the country and beginning an age of prosper.
- The Land War
- The Dragons began noticing Orcs and Goblins traveling across the land, both Orcs and Goblins had been hardened by the war, they grew bitter and vengeful and often took out their anger and lust on innocents.
- Eventually Berengari received word of what her creations were doing and she was horrified, she begged Talia and The Gray One to let her out so she could right her wrongs and stop the fighting.
- Unfortunately, it was too late. The Orcs and Goblins had carved a path across the land; Berengari brought her wrath down upon her creations and punished them. They were no longer her children, but would be children born of the darkest, dampest, bleakest parts of the earth. They would have to fight to rise again the land they once fought so valiantly for.
- This decree brought The Shiver into existence.
- The Aftermath
- Glaurin, trapped and unable to help the people ravaged by the Orcs and Goblins, raged within his cage. He cursed Berengari and grew resentful, though was pleased with her decree against her former children. He still would not forgive her. He vowed to remain alone in the skies, watching over his children, but not interfering.
- The Land War was over, but the age of war was not. Lands fought against each other, cities and towns and villages were conquered and borders were drawn. People had learned how to fight and take what they wanted.
- Seeing what they had taught their creations, the gods took a step back. Talia proposed The Rules of the Gods, to keep them from influencing people like this again. Many agreed to these rules, some did not, and after some modifications, they rules were bound into law.
